I notice every time I put my cell phone near my radio my radio makes a humming and buzzing noise. IT doesn't do it in my other cars just my GS. I have the Nakamichi and a Motorola Razr.

 

probably interference hehe. sometimes there will be frequencies that cross whether it e radio, cellular, or even through battery cables.

 

This happens to me and almost all of my headphones if a cell phone is brought too close. Never had it happen to a radio but I assume it's possible. It's normal.

 

I have the RAZR, and it happens to me too! But it also happens to all other types of radios and microphones. I believe it's interference from the cell phone...

My wife's GS did that and it was loud until I replaced the Nakamichi head unit with an aftermarket Pioneer. Strangely enough I did not have the problem with my stock Pioneer unit but had the problem arise when I changed to another aftermarket unit.

 

I used to have a Nextel phone that nitorious for this. I always new a call was about to come in from the disruption in the radio's signal.
