haha yea i know thir not on the car yet, but i just got em in and im happy, so i wanted to share:

ordered it this past weekend, and it arrived today. pretty much running the same set-up as AZDESERTGS, with 14235 mufflers, and 7" magnaflow tips, although I will be taking out my resonators (still debating that). This all came out to under $240 (thanks to GSoup's coupon recommendation), and with install and custom piping im not looking at more than $400 for the entire project.

Once I get it up and running I will post a vid. Just praying it sounds nice.

He probably means 7" in length. A 7" diameter tip would look horrible.

I was thinking the same thing. A 7" Diameter would just be goofy looking IMO

Great affordable exhaust, had them on my old gs, nice and quiet at crusing speed and just enough roar when you want it.

Just curious, what made you decide to not go with the 14829 which seems to be the most popular choice for the GS?

Congrats on the purchase. You will love the sound. The model you purchased is part of the "street series mufflers" for Magnaflow. The only difference between the 14829 and the one you purchased is the offset of the inlet. Welcome to the Magnaflow family. Mario Andretti will be writing you soon

You'll love the set-up.....I do As for the difference between the 14829 and this set-up (since I have had both) is that it is easier to have the exhaust come straight out the back of the valence. When you have the center/center offset of the 14829's it doesn't leave to much room for the exhaust guy and makes a pretty aggressive angle to make it come out straight. Thats why most will have a slight angle of the 14829 after they are installed.

These are still a straight through design and imo looks better from the rear after they are installed then my old set-up. Only thing is that they don't sell the offset/offset muffler with the tips already installed....boooooooo

yup thats exactly the reason why i chose the 14235 instead of the 14829. its cuz of the thread a little while back where AZ and GSoup were discussing the difference in the exhausts, and how AZ was off, and someone else showed their 14829 and it looked off.

AZ went on to mention how the 14235 looked better, but that they didnt get tips with them. So i knew my exhaust guy could weld tips no problem, and i figured what spending a lil more having him weld the tips as opposed to it looking bi-directional ( i absolutely hate it when exhausts look like this).

thanks again to AZ and Gsoup. AZ i've got your car as my wallpaper at the office. GSoup thanks for saving me a lil cash, cant wait to see what you do with your new ride

Let us know what you think and post some pics after its all done. I've been thinking about taking off the magnaflow resonators I got so i'd be curious what you think if you go that route of removing them. Can't wait to see the results
