Wanted to see what all the current GB JP LED tails people are running for the reverse light in these new lights - ie the one slot that doesn't come with a light out of the box. Talked to Luis at Carson and he said just run 194's. My stock bulbs (i think 7440?) from a 98 GS400 were way too big to fit in the new lights. I only had some Polarg J-51's laying around so I threw them in. Not sure if they are bright enough though.

Upon further review of some old threads on lights I found out that the 01+ tails use a diff size bulb for the back-up light.. they use 921.. (98-00 use 7440) So, I picked some of those up and dropped them in instead of the J-51's. Much better for reverse. Turn signals are a little soft in brightness still.. but that's the price we pay for the silver colored amber flashers I guess.

for the turn signal, yes, i think you have the chrome amber bulb. it's probably a bit softer but i think it's fine

Men in Brown Finally Came.
Been waiting. I feel like I' m the last one out of the first batch to get 'em.
Cleaned up the wiring prior to install. Added a strip of wire loom and taped up the rest.
