Brutal!!
Just got a GS, sorry to hear this man, I will definitely be putting as much after market security in the car as possible. In the NYC area so I will be keeping an eye out also. If they want your car, they will get it, I've been victimized a couple of times, with different makes and models of car. Make it as tough as you can for them to steal it, park it in well lit high traffic areas, and it sucks but hopefully they'll move on to the car that is an easier target. I knew a couple, both worked in law enforcement, parked their BMW in the driveway in front of the garage which also happened to be below their bedroom. Parked their truck behind the BMW. It was a hot summer night, they had the window air conditioner going--they towed his truck out of the way, and put the BMW onto the flatbed, right under their bedroom window. They woke up to find the truck halfway onto the street and the 5 series gone. As I said If they want it...they are going to get...

That Sucks
I had my car stolen. Turns out the person that stole my car CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY. It was some drunk college kid who got in my car. I must have not armed it. My dumbass left the Valet key in the center console and within seconds he zipped away. Luckily this guy was such a nice guy/***** he called me (since I had a ton of business cards in my Leather Binder) to tell me where I could pick up my car. The only thing that sucked was that in that Binder I had a TON of info on contacts and probably missed out on at least $30k worth of business (which I get 60% of!). Hopefully the guy that stole it tried jumping a fence on his next adventure, slips onto the top of the fence which hopefully has the points sticking right up, crushes his nuts soo bad that he could never enjoy another erection again. He would be able to do the do, you'll be able to get another car and (sigh) start all over. Really sorry for you homie.
P.S Just remember, it could always be worse. At least you have all your limbs (i hope) and are breathing (a bigger hope).

Update!!!! Car Found.....
I spoke to Tone a little while ago. He doesn't have access to a computer right now. The detective assigned to the case just called him up. They let him know tthe car was recovered a couple of hours ago in Jamaica, Queens.
Well according to the detective they took all the audio/tv screens and they crashed the car. His trunk is empty except for the fiberglass enclosure (no subs - I didn't think they would leave JL audo 13w7's behind). The interior is intact, so are the wheels and the body kit (minus whatever damage happened in the crash). No airbag deployment Which is a good thing, i guess, considering the circumstances.
They basically took - rough estimate - close to $10K in audio equipment
We'll see exactly what they did tomorrow or today that is, when we go to pick it up from the impound . I'm taking the camera, so I'll post up some pictures later of the damage.
He also told me to make sure that everyone knows that he appreciated the support and thanks

Thanks for the update Gsoup. Hopefully he is able to recover some of his losses through insurance, or at a minimum, is able to use the insurance any body damage fixed. Thankfully neither he nor anyone else was injured in this senseless act of vandalism and theft.

Glad to hear they found the car, even though they took all the audio it, that can be replaced. Will it be covered by insurance. When my GS was broken into they replaced all the audio and screens that were stolen.

I would like to know if the detective found signs of forced entry or hot wire. Although the stereo equipment will likely be replaced, it'd be nice to know they were on a trail of some kind to catch the thief.

Good to hear the car was recovered intact. I would think those jackasses would take the audio out of the car Jamaica Queens is a notorious dumping ground for stolen cars. Just yesterday, I saw a stripped 05-06 Lincoln Navigator on bricks. I'm sure the detectives are dusting for prints in Tone's car if they haven't done so already. Comprehensive insurance should cover the audio replacement. Tone, when you are ready, I will gladly escort you to my alarm guy and get you the best deal.

I hope the damage isn't too bad, both from the crash and the theft of audio. Seeing the car after this is going to be hard, try to find something positive about the car for him to think when you go with him to the impound.

Ditto!!! I'm glad you were able to get the car back in one piece. Jamaica can be a very large area as they dup neighboring area as part of Jamaica. I would be interested as well to know if it was hot wired or what.
Yeah money, get that LoJack in NY. That's one of the reasons I moved, back then and I'm sure it holds true now too...it's hard to have anything nice w/o somwone trying to take it. I used to park my 5.0 GT half way on the sidewalk in between two trees in front of my window. The cops knew the deal.

I'm glad to hear the car was found man, the audio should be replaced by insurance. !st thing I would do when you get to the car is see hw they took, Did they use a key? If so than man start with the previous owner and work backwards to find the *** that did this.
