Man you know you are gonna get in trouble for this right? I think a car has to be built/equipped with certain things before you can really drift with it.

you can drift any car.. lol it's just a good idea to make sure your car is built correctly for doing so.. i think it's mostly suspension work you need to be concerned about? i don't know though as i don't drift lol

yes it can be done , no you cant do it properly and safely

you need a very very stiff coilover setup , you need all the toms underbody braces and strut tower braces you need very rigid sways and you need in cabin bracing for rigidity

moreover you need more power to keep the sideways motion going like boost

you also need to have high perf tie rod ends with pillow ball mounts instead of rubber and ball and socket to maintain slip angles

in other words if you got the dough you can get it done without these items you are going to lose control and lose it adly for the gs is all over the place from the rear end

agree, take off vsc and you can drift the car no problem. you can do that on almost all rwd cars easily

whether that's a good idea or not, i will leave that up to you

Sure you can drift with the GS3. If you are on the stock suspension, you might take out the cars acros the lot. Becareful

i honestly chose to go for vip to get away from the drift scene which is getting bigger. as for your question yes a gs300 is driftable however you will need somewhat of a stiff suspension to avoid body roll and if you were to do so i would suggest doing so in a rainy day because it will save you tire wear and you will be able to kick out easier. most drift cars are manual transmission so you can downshift and clutch kick to get that instant power. it is possible to drift with an automatic car but it most likely wont be a true drift.. more like a power slide.

dude, don't drift on stock suspension, its not made for it and it'll mess it up. you're asking for trouble if you do.

go buy urself an old 240 and do some cheap suspenion mods and fire away.

agreed on a wet road/parking lot, it's easier. i wouldn't run the risk of damaging the lexus for 20 seconds of joy.
