hey guys n gals

im about to purchase my 1st lexus, a gs430 and im terribly excitied lol.

i currently have a 1995 240sx, among a few other vehicles, however since the original gs came out, i have always lusted for one.

anyways, ive been lurking and searching for a long time, so no silly newb questions out of me, promise

heres a couple pics of my car right before she hits ebay

she was turbo'd with an s13 sr, but i blew the cheap pos up really quick, so i had bought a 1jz to drop in, sadly my good friend who did these swaps all day long for supras/soarers passed away

anyways, just wanted to say hi

thanks man

im not even sure what my car will go for, with all the people jumping on the bandwagon, they might not understand the work involved in my 1995 240sx to get her to this point and justify what i want.

im an old school zilvia cat, but ill prolly have better luck on ebay who knows, anyways good to know i got some backup here now haha

rominl, thanks for the welcome as well

there is a lot of information here. just use the search function and you'll most likely find what you're inquiring about.

welcome and hope to see your new ride soon.

Nice to see some 240 owner/former owners here. Soon I will be a GS or Sc owner.

The GS is a great car. I also have a S13 that was torn apart from and built from the ground up (silvia front end/sr20det etc...), and I found that I could not part with it. Interesting how your SR blew up, mine has been running strong since day one and I hope to put down 400 whp sometime this year, stock bottom end.

Oh yeah, back on topic - you will love the GS.

when i got my sr, back in 02, it was kind new to the east coast, i got mine thru a place in canada

it was not a good experience, as far as i remember, just ****ty all around

now a days, id drop an rb25 n call it a day

i know ill love the gs, when i gave up my sc'd maxima se-l, my plan was for a gs then, but some stuff happend, anyways, ill love her more now than i would have then!
