That's the only time mine comes on too, when its really hot and I am sitting in traffic.....

If I go to Autozone and run the code check do I have to do it with the lights on, because now they all disappeared, all I did was not drive the car overnight...... But I still want to get it fixed....So no lights will the codes still show?

Your lights need to be on in order to get the codes. Just wait to they go back on, believe me they will. Hopefully it will be when u have time and they are open.

Default maf cleaning

First off i took the negative battery cable off.
All i used was a 10mm socket unscrewed the to bolts un clipped the harness.
sprayed like a half a can of brake cleaner in the 2 resisters and on the plug connection let it sit out to air dry for 5 to 10min hooked up the maf sensor back the same way i took it off left the negative battery cable of for a totla time of an hour put it back on, and im not sh98ing u i noticed beter throttle response.

I removed the intake and put the stock one back on and everything was ok again. I know you probably have the stock intake, but my example was just to show you what happens when the MAF sensor is not reading correctly. I'll try posting up a DIY on my website sometime for the MAF cleaning. I think there are a few guides here, just do a search.

Good luck!
