Gs300
Im about to get a 2000 Lexus GS300(38K miles), i would like to know the pro's and con's of this car? Are the parts expensive? any recalls? is it fast? is it a gaz guzzler? I have a 1995 volvo 940 right now, and the car is nice with the gas. Should i get this car or not? There's also an 2001 Lexus IS200 for sale, which one should i get?

Yeah, i was also interested in this one, also i was looking at a 2003 330i but i dont like how those cars look, they look fragile, this is more of a car....Also what about the con's and pro's?Also when i get it i would like to put some 19 or 20 inches on the car, do i need to lower it for the huge gap between the wheel well and the tire to be gone or it wont make a difference( i checked the topic of the guy with the maroon gs and the gap was hideous), also, are parts expensive(not at the dealership of course)

The IS300 and GS300 give about the same mpg
They are both preatty cheap to maintain, very reliable
The IS seems to be a little faster and definetly handles better than the GS, the IS seems to stop better than the GS.
The GS is waaaay waaaay more comfortable, greater PIMP factor specially with some 20's.
Drive em both and take your time deciding.
The 330's are not a fragile in any way - I love the 330ci 5spd coupe and will take one over the IS and the GS, it will out perform a GS or an IS (handle/brake/accelerate), 330's are as close as you can get to the older E36 M3's, 330's cost more $$$ than the IS or the GS - expensive to maintain and repair. The 3 series bmw gives very decent mpg.
If you got $$$ spend some time testdriving a 330 specially with the sport package
Good luck
