'03 GS300 or '02 GS430

Pros? Cons?

I'm new to the forum and am buying my next car within the next 5-10 days. I've narrowed it down to these 2. I seem to see a lot more 300's for sale than 430's (which there are hardly any of in my area). Can any of you guys provide any input?

Oh, and is it possible to swap out the NAV in a 430 for a Non-NAV setup? How hard would it be to do?

if price isn't an issue, go for the GS430 no doubt. There are those who gets GS300s wishing they had gotten the 430 instead. And there are those who bought the V8 with no regrets.

Definately get the 430 or even keep your eyes open for a 400.

as someone who started with a 98 GS300 (RIP) and moved to a 2K GS400 a few years ago, I urge you to go with the V8. You will NOT be sorry, trust me.

There is NO comparison, unless you plan on the GTE swap down the road sometime... even then it's big $$$ to do AND you would be waiting for 300+ horses. Who wants that?

Thanks for the input, guys. I'm definitely leaning towards the GS430, and if I can find an '02 without NAV and <60K mi, that's what I'm going for. Otherwise it'll probably have to be the '03 GS300. Like I said, I've seen way more GS300's for sale as opposed to GS430's...almost a 10 to 1 ratio over here.
