Hey i was intrested in buying a 99-01 gs 300 i was wondering what questions should i ask when buying the vehicle my budget is up to 15k so ill probobly find them with low 100k miles so yea what questions should i ask before buying?

Where in cali are you?

For $15k, you can probably get a GS400 instead. You wont regret it. Gas mileage difference isn't significant either.

Most importantly, find out if they did the 90k miles maintenance. The car is reliable so there is nothing major to worry about. Come to think of it..if you really want to, I would get a lexus mechanic to check out the car for you. I know the ones near me will do it for $100 or so, and you might even get the seller to pay half. A little bit of money goes a long way.

I would definitely hold out for a 400... I drove tons of GSs and after taking the 400 on an open freeway and just creaming it you won't want to drive a 300.
