your insurance should cover that without your insurance going up since it was a hit and run...as long as your not at fault it should be good i think i unno

good luck thought

Damn that hurts know how you feel. Your insurance should cover it...no problem! You should be ok to still keep your plans to mod it out. Goodluck with it.

Just my 2 cts, but working in the insurance industry, I have noticed that not at-fault accidents raise premium more than an at-fault accident.

Not to offend you or anything. I think you are (dunno the word to say) "lucky?" at where the damage was at. Of course it always sucks for the car to be hit anywhere. Looking at the damage, it looks like the dents start from the rear door - front door - fender. These are all replaceable parts. Just unbolt and bolt new ones back....painted to match of course.

On my car, the roof was dented and obviously thats not really a bolt and replace part. The options to fix it was to cut the roof out and weld a new one in. Obviously I chose a different route.

If your rear quarter was seriously damaged, that would seriously seriously rack up the repair cost. They would have to cut a section of the back of the car off and reweld a new piece on.

In your case, doors, and front fenders are all bolt and replace items.

I hope that other guy gets what's coming to him!
