the I6 in the GS300 has potential for power, as it's based off the Supra engine. The Current v8, while it may be strong stock, lacks the aftermarket that the I6 engine has. Not to mention, the 2jz engine loves to be boosted.

another difference is the front part of the exhaust setup of course, where the gs400 is dual pipe but the gs300 is single pipe.
and just to clarify dave's post, gs300 has higher stall tq converter. but then again if you do the gte swap, you probably don't care about that

I think I've pretty much decided to get a GS3 and I will look for one with the HID. The e-shift doesn't really matter to me very much. I think the higher stall of the convertor on the GS3 is actually going to be worth more to me than any of the other stuff that's been mentioned. I think I'm going to try to keep the stock tranny so that I can retain the 5 speed over the Supra 4 speed. Plus it looks like the AEM engine management has the ability to control the tranny directly. I will probably be asking about parts to rebuild it and shift kits available in the future. If I can't find anything, I'll figure out how to make my own. Thanks to everyone who responded. I really appreciate the info and support.
Thanks,
Brandon
