Default Replacing Cabin Air Filter

I think I need to replace the Cabin Air Filter in my 98 GS400. The car is stinking like an animal died in it.

I have never done this before, can someone advise me on whether it is easy to do, where can I find a reference to doing it, and approximately how much I should pay for an OEM filter?

Thanks

Great alternative to people like me who buy air fresheners that run out within 2 weeks.

I am closing in on a 60K service and I don't think I need a new cabin filter. Should I get one or should I wait. The car interior does not smell poorly.

The air filters are normal maintenance items at 30,000 intervals... That is the engine and the cabin air filters.
