Fog Light bulbs

lights
From experience the PIAA Plasma Ions don't seem to last very long on stateside cars. They look nice but tend to blow-out on the average of less than a year. Seems like driving lights go out but the highbeam portion work. As a safety precaution we (mechanics, friends, myself) try installing the bulbs by holding them with cosmetic oil blotting papers and avoiding contact with the bulb. Still go bad...
Now PIAAs have the XX or Extreme series. I'm not really sure about there durability because they are so new. Only if PIAA-US started selling JDM light bulbs for domestic usage... that would be awesome. That and warranty the bulbs for at least a year than I would justify paying over $50 for lightbulbs.
For the price of PIAAs. I recommend Hyper Industries 9006 Ion Cystal or Xenon charged for the fog lamps. Way cheaper in comparison than PIAAs.
