Default Chrome Moda's on the GS400

My nieghbors think I change my cars' wheels more than I change socks. Almost but not quite.

I had a set of Moda's since about 2001. I liked the looks and fitment a lot. When it was time to put some new tires on I had them refinished in chrome. Sizes are 18x8 and 18x9.

Here is a before shot:

Well it is a very small company here in the Dallas area. No website, they don't even have a fax machine! Since you are so far off from Texas, you would have better luck looking nearby your city.

The wheels look nice in chrome If you received a warranty, keep a close eye on the new finish. Watch for discoloration and bubbles.

Default Suspension

Rims and car look great, did you do anything at all to the suspension?

Yes, the ole "L-Tuned" kit of shocks, struts and springs. Otherwise stock. Here is a photo of before the suspension and wheels.

Nope I don't wanna go back !!

Looks like OEM GS rims, but an inch larger. Thats why Lexus should have done, offer 18". the 17" looks a bit too small for a car this big. Everything looks great though!

Thanks, and I really like that wide 275/35 look that is tucked nicely on the Moda 9" wide rears, I am a pretty tough critic on rear wheel fitment and this one suits me just right!
