Default Rumble...Rumble...Rumble...

I'm experiencing a slight rumble / vibration on my 01 GS430 at idle..I have 82k on the car...I'm wondering if its an motor mount or just need to reset the ECU....the car doesnt / never stalled..it runs fine. I use 91+ octane no ones notices it, but I do....any ideas.????...

try this, turn on your lights or ac and see if it goes away.

Chucks probably right...stupid low idle problem.

When the rumbling is happening check to see what your RPMs are at. When I get the occasional rumble the car's running at 500 rpms, which will cause a shake.

Red face The Stealership told me.......

Hey Eman,

I had the same problem with my GS430, and I thought the same I'm driving a Lexus it shouldn't be doing this right? Well the local (stealership) I mean dealership told me that the rumble is normal for all GS430's which I thought was odd......but since I'm not the only experiencing this I guess it would be normal. I don't know, but since it's been so freaking hot here the last couple of days, I've left the A/C on! Hope that helps....
