do you drench it in the stripper gel? i think ima take it off and do it again..but dont want to risk f-ing up the chrome for letting it sit too long..so it comes right off after waiting that long? and wipes off easily?

NO DO NOT DRENCH IT, that will melt the plastic grille. just let it sit covered in gel remover for 20 mins then high pressure hose it , then wipe it clean, wipe little black marks thats still on there off

Man O Man why did I bump into this topic, well you know whats next I had to try it since I am a sucka for chrome grills.I did everything as instructed by GATO but on my 98 grill there was some white residue which was endless to remove from inside the the spaces on grill, so I had to bust out the airbrush when all else fails with elbow juice, I ended up airbrushing white area's with light transparent gray.I am truly satisfied with end product, I hope this is helpful for peeps with 98 GS that had residue left over.

Again where are you going to find a Lexus chrome Grill for $7.00 dollars,

Thanks GATO.........

Here is a Blue.......
