Default uneven exhaust pipe

There were some threads a while back about uneven exhaust pipes on the back of some people's new 430, and I am wondering what the fix was from the dealer, and what I need to ask for?

Two "O" rings hold the rear end of the exhaust. Just adjusting those will adjust the tilt.

How can they be adjusted? They just hang.

I remember it was some part that the dealer needs to order and replace on the car, if anyone remembers or knows what that part is, I would greatly appreciated,

Visualize a rod suspened by support at both ends. If you lower or raise one end only, you are changing the tilt. You can get different length "O" rings or drop the hanger by adding shim-washers.

Back to the first post ...
The two "O" rings (for each exhaust) did not appear identical. I made sure that the ring on the left side of the hanger, ended up on the left side and the right on the right.

Thanks Salim - the dealer actually has different size O rings??? If not, where did you get them?

Default Exhaust

Just tell the dealer it isn't right and fix the damn thing! This is what I finally did after two trips to the dealer. They kept feeding a line of bull, so I just told them to fix it. Don't know how they fixed it, but they did.
