Default Which Is The Best Exhaust For The Gs400

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME ON THIS! THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT BRANDS OUT THERE LIKE :: HKS, APEX, GREDDY, BLITZ, TANABE. BUT WHICH ONE IS THE BEST FOR THE GS400 I WANT THAT V8 SOUND BUT NOT AS LOUD AS SOME OF THOSE HONDAS I SEE. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT V8 SOUND THE MUSTAGE HAS, IS THAT POSSIBLE TO GET OUT OF THESE EXHAUST OR WOULD I NEED TO GET FLOWMASTERS.

You need to meet people with aftermarket exhausts. You won't get a concensus on here.

Many say L-Tuned is quiet, but they probably haven't even heard one. My car DEFINITELY sounds like it has a V8 now though. Others have what are considered 'loud' exhausts (e.g., Greddy, Blitz), but I've heard a Blitz and it didn't seem hardly any louder than mine.

Again, you need to see/hear the exhaust... I would *NOT* buy an exhaust based on opinions here.

The only thing I can tell you is the cheapest and most popular after market exhaust is the Borla. Personally I don't like the way it is mounted, but there's many happy owners of it on here.

Bit,

Good answer!

BTW, can you help me pick out some new wheels to match my exhaust?

When I put my borlas, it was the only one available. As previously mentioned, its mounting system sucks. Mine look impressive because they fit perfectly in the bumper openings, but I had a hell of a time adapting a mounting system out of metal brackets and fuel hose: not what I had in mind after spending that kind of money on a borla.
On a side note, the car also looks awesome because there's nothing hanging below the rear fender, and as far as I've seen, all other systems (including L-tuned) hang down, just like the stock muffler.
