Do I buy the 97 LS or the 99 GS?

Is '97 LS VVT-I already? From what i know '98 was the year when VVT-I have been introduced. If i'm right that would be a factor for me to choose GS over LS also GS has less miles

I don't know what WT-I is. But either way it looks like this delaership is jerking me. all the prices they quoted me are some how all of a sudden wrong or "typos" even though they agreed with them 2 days ago. The GS is more than the LS, and now the LS is more than I thought it was, and they are robbing me in interest.

I owned a 96 LS 400 for 7 years that my wife wrecked a year ago when it had 197K miles on it. We really loved that car. I replaced it with a 99 GS 400 and I have really enjoyed my GS. If you want a superbly built and smooth riding luxury car then buy the LS. A 95-97 LS with its 250 HP V8 won't thrill you to drive it but it will certainly pamper you with its smoothness and quiet. On the other hand, If you want something fun to drive that looks and feels smart then buy a GS.
Personally, I would spend the extra cash and get a GS 400. The 300HP V8 is worth every penny!!!
