i went to south jersey to see a beautiful 98 GS400 but with 137k, do u guys think $13400 is a good price? i hate to think what kind of resale i will get say two years down the line with 170k on it.

i've been checking private owner cars, im going to try the dealers on Hillside as suggested by clubmembers.

ay-nako. the lexus scene is not as big as the honda/acura/dsm scene but thats how i like it. higher cost of entry helps to maintain the exclusivity

Well i dont know if i would say it's a good deal, i mean whats good buy to you may not be the same for someone else. If i was you i would take oohpapi44 up on his offer and have him look at one or two with you, alot of times it's best to bring a third party with you that isnt buying so they can give you a good unbiased opinion on what your looking at. It is very easy to make an emotional purchase when buying a car and throw practicallity and or reason out the window.

As for the car in Jersey with 137k on it for 13,400.00 that may be a stretch but hey if it's perfect then it may not be a bad deal. Just for comparisons sake I just purchased a spectra blue mica 1998 GS400 that i found in Rhode Island yeah it has 170k on it, but it's an original owner car (sales like myself) with all the service records since day one, it has some stone and rock chips on the hood and front bumper to be expected, but the inside is immaculate, I mean i drove it back down here to FL and everyone that has seen it cant believe it i dont even want to say what i paid for it, incase i wan to resell it later on but lets just say it was no where near, and i mean nowhere 13k
