TRD Strut Questions
My wife was good to me and let me get a '99 GS400. I wanted Blk/Blk with 17" wheels and had to hunt all over California to find one. But it was worth it! What a GREAT car!! I am considering getting a TRD strut bar and was wondering:
- How difficult is it to install
- Are any modifications required
- How much of a difference in handling will it make
Thanks,

Just put in my TRD STB last week.
1. Very easy to install - Took no more than 10 minutes (6 bolts)
2. No modifications were required in my case. I heard that some folks have interference problems with the motor cover. Mine just touches it w/o the factory load plates installed.
3. Front end seems a bit tighter. I'm still running factory springs/shocks but plan to put in L-Tuned components soon.
Good luck!
ps. Buy your bar from Steve at Carson Toyota.

And yes, I got it from Steve too.
