2002 GS Tail Ligh
Does anyone know if the new 2002 GS tail light will fit into a 2000GS? I saw the brochure tonight.. and want to get that new light on my GS.. Personaly I think that the 2000GS tail light is not very good looking...

yes it should fit fine alot of people on this site have already switched to them, if you dont like the look of the old one and you want to be diffrent there is a third option which is to get the european lights, wich look like but instead of the yellow in the middle its all cleared out

01 and 02 have the same tail light...and yes, steve from carson can get them for you, adn they will fit 98-00 GS. ~$300 i think, not sure though...

rodney of SF mas wheel sell the euro ones, but you need to send him yoour stock ones and also pay ~$450 i think

I don't think those ones that Mas Wheel is selling are Euro spec...otherwise, he wouldn't need the stock ones...
Personally, for $450 PLUS your stockers, I'd rather just BUY the 01/02 instead...they look better IMO than the pre-01/02 ones w/ or w/o the yellow cleared out...

It is VERY hard to clear these out! And very easy to make a mistake! Plus you get all cut up, dirty, and makes a giant mess....let alone takes 8 hours to do plus dry time.......Deffently would not recommend if you haven't had experience with these kind of things..... I've got the process down perfect but it was a pain to learn.

I was driving today and saw a black GS300 with like ORANGE taillight on the passenger side! Whole thing orange!
Got up close and noticed that the red glass outside has shattered. I guess that's like a huge chunk of orange inside covered by red glass on top and bottom.
