a/c question?

hey
am not sure but i have heard of people having problems with aftermarket condensers in GSs.
like i said am not sure but i would rather look for a used condenser taken from a working Gs than have an aftermarket ones. ams ure u can find a condenser from a GS used or just get one from a lexus dealer(Big bucks). Good luck to u either way u go, cos the a/c system can at times in most cars be a PITA and a pocket-drainer in times of repairs or parts.
BTW TAMR_GUS98, the lighting guy who handles the lighting for my work says their company deals with Osram and other light companies(including automobile), so the HID project might be kicking off real soon (Damn sylvannia silvertar bulbs: not as white as commercialized and one just died yesterday after 2 months of installation )

Does anyone know if there is a differrence between ac condenser's/drier's for the gs430 and the gs300's?????
Lexus dealership here in TN says my condenser has a problem not letting in the freon and that i need a new one...$2200 for parts and labor....OMG!!!!
So I think I will go with a used condenser..
Thanks for any inputs

IF you get a used one, make sure you don't buy from Seymour Auto in Seymour, CT.
They said they had one for me from a 2000 GS3, but instead sent me a New aftermarket piece of crap one. And they said the only way to get my money back is to return it, less a 20% restocking fee.
Bad business.
