Does anyone use the sports shift on the 01+ gs's ?? How well does it work?? where do you use it??
I was interested to see if anyone uses it. I have 99700 on my GS3, and I have NEVER EVER used it.. so wanted to see what ya'll think about the sport shifter..

 

Sometimes ...On clean and empty streets.Rev up to 4500 Rpm or so .Very smoth.Why do you START ON 2nd?

The trasition beween gears is very smoth almost like an automatic...FUN.
The only inconvinince is that your hands(or thumbs) must be in contact with the buttons , as you turn the steering wheel it becomes unconfortable.
That is why i think the paddles are better if you are in to heavy Sport Shifting and drive in areas that require lot of up and downshifting (ie: Mountain roads with a lot up and down curves).
