LOL - I am guessing you have never been through a divorce. It is set out in the decree that you cannot sell any property, and the only reason you can sell it is to pay legal expenses. You are not allowed to sell anything for less than its reasonable worth - meaning you can't start hiding and giving away possessions so you don't lose them.

Hey man,

Unfortunately I have contacted everyone that has parts listed for the GS400 from car-parts. A lot of places don't even mess with harnesses, and the ones that do - well they want to sell me the entire engine harness for $800+

Here is a 30 second picture of it. I have a red wire soldered to each wire so I have 2 solders on each, aking 10 solders altogether. The car runs, but it is not sufficient enough for me to want to drive the thing without worrying I am going to get stuck on the side of the road.

I may be worrying about it too much - but I don't think the car is going to run perfectly with this ghetto rigged like this. What do u think?

i think you're gonna be okay unless the soldered connections were really shoddy. does it throw any codes when you're driving? i had to fix one of my abs speed sensors when my daizen sway bar crushed it against the car's frame. works fine so far. i think you'll be okay. btw, nice drawing.

U like that huh I guess I will try and drive it and see. And no, the soldering is not shoddy - I did it myself

I just don't like having that many wires soldered together

If anyone comes across one please let me know,

Jonny

Hey Jonny,

I checked Concord the auto wrecking yards and they already pulled the motors.

Here is a list of wreckers for the bay area.

http://www.scada1.com/baadamem.htm

If you need assistance with areas in the bay, just ask.

Have you tried any body shops? I also contacted my cousin who works for a tow yard to see if anything is at his location.

well, I think it should run fine, unless the solder joints are causing a high resistance path. I've seen your solder work, as long as no codes are thrown, DRIVE THE BIATCH!!!!

You are a good man - I appreciate it. I will start making calls from the list.

OK guys,

Had her driving fine for about 2 days and then this afternoon I got the dreaded CEL. It is a p0110 which is Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction. With my trusty manual I see that I probably need to replace my MAF sensor (AGAIN!!) or else it is because the wiring to it is ghetto rigged.

I have cleared the code so we will see how quickly it comes back.

Stay posted as the Dx3 MAF saga will continue!!
