Default "Worst parking lot accident they'd seen"

[IMG]This is the quote from the police, ambulance and firemen who showed up at the scene. I just started pulling away from the Starbucks drive up window when a minivan came screaming off the road (six lane road), screaching around the corner like a heat sinking missile, head on into my car. All I could do is grip the steering wheel tight and think "this is gonna be bad".

The car was my baby, 1999 130K miles and perfect. It was a total loss, interesting thing was the airbag never went off even though both front sensors were distroyed.

In the end everything worked out. I received a fair check for my totalled car and two days ago picked up a beautiful 2002 GS 300, same color ex and in as my old one. When I find something I like I stick with it! I'm including a couple of pics of my totaled GS.[/IMG]

No, but she assumed full responsibility. I have a couple of pics I tried to post but must have done it incorrectly. I'll give it another try here.

Ouch..... Hurts to see a GS look like that. But glad it worked out for you and that you ended up with an upgrade.
