Talking I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!!!

After a couple of days of not being able to enter, I am now able to access the site! Myself and Mkilty were on the phone and online for @ hour, (between Dallas & California) and after brainstorming and reviewing possible changes to the site, I am up and running! There was a slight modification that was made to the site, (in an attempt to improve speed) that apparently was interpreted by my, (and other) system(s) as being neccessary to download a file when you try to enter the site!
I'm aware of a few others who also experienced this problem, but the vast majority of you did not. But it's all good now!

Thanks Mike for all your help and your continuing efforts to make make CLUBLEXUS.COM the absolute best Lexus (member) site on the Web!!!

I had the same problems.
Glad everything is OK now. I like the small changes to the site.

There was an adjustment to the program that runs when the site is accessed. It was made to improve performance, i.e. reply to posts, posting pictures on the forums, and basically quicker overall response time while you're on the site. The problem was that the adjustment/addition to the existing program caused browsers to believe that paths with "php" (which this site uses!) needed to be downloaded as a file. However, if you were currently running some sort of "winzip" program on your system, you would not be prompted to download or save to disk, cause' your "zip" program would automatically download/bypass the prompt so you would really never know what I and a few other members experienced. I have a new sytem running Windows ME, and I had not yet installed a "zipfile" program! Currently that CL site adjustment was removed for an alternate solution.
