I have Tein CS with about 1 finger gap on both front and rear. On the OEM suspension, you may not notice it as much until you hit a dip big enough that will cause the shocks/springs to compress enough to make the tires reach the fender. How big of a dip is "big enough"? That I don't have an answer for.

I guess I'll have to drive like a granddad unless I get on the highway The car's only a weekend car anyway, used mostly for trips here and there. Only put on 3000 miles since it was bought about a year and half ago. Just waiting on the Tein's which should definitely be done in the next few months at the most with rear struts so shouldn't be a problem for a long time or I hope so anyway.

Really appreciate it Neo, thanks. I'm just glad I'll be fine with the 285's temporarily and mod the fenders after putting the Flex on.
