Wire Trace for 12v Power Socket

Wire Trace for 12v Power Socket
My 12 volt sockets below the radio and in the arm rest are both dead. Have checked the fuse, but its not that. Want to try and trace the wire, but can't get at either of them-anyone help?
How to remove scoket below radio from ash tray, or get at the one in the arm rest, seems like they are both a nightmare to get at-help please. BTW its an 01 GS300.
