I have had my GS for three weeks now. i bought it because it was in MINT shape. Love it!
I was on my way to see the grand prix of denver on sat morning when two little asian girls driving a nissan pathfinder ran a red light at 40 mph.

i hate to tell ya buddy, but that car may NEVER be the same... it looks like she really messed up 5 panels (hood, front quarter panel, both doors and rear quarter panel)... when its all said and done, i'd surprised if everything lines up. thats a really crappy situation to be in
i wish you lots of luck and i hope it comes out as good as new, but im just SOOOOOO skeptical when it comes to body work

Sorry about your accident. I had seeing a Lexus look like that. At least you have the right attitude of looking at modding it during the rebuild. Good luck!

Denver GS - if you're going to go with that BN kit, i hope you are willing to go the whole VIP route. My thinking here is that kit wont look right unless you also go w some serious deep dish wheels, stretched tires, large exhaust tips, air suspension, the whole nine yards. That kit is VERY japanese looking to me.
Oh, and count on waiting for it for at least six months to ship here from Japan.

Yes very Japanese!
That’s why I like it.
if the kit is available in Japan from my distributor it would take about three weeks. On the bad side 4 months. even then that might be too long for me.
I might just have to shop around and see what’s in the US now.

I had the same type of accident.... see this story here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=204477
Both my Doors replaced. whole side painted
The inside front panel was replaced $1600.. Just for ONE Panel.
Total bill was over $7K Her Ins took full responsibility.
Things to think about now.
Make sure that you check for glass damage inside the car, scratches on leather and such.
I had to go back after a month and do a second claim to pull the dash due to all the glass that got lodged in there through the vent at the top of the dash.
Everytime i would make a turn you would hear litte glass piece moving left to right
Make sure they re-tint the glass
Make sure that your defroster on the mirror works. I have to go back and see why mine does not anymore.
Make sure you can open your passenger side door with the key. I had to go back for that too.
