Thanks for the heads up, we actually have taken that into consideration. Even thought the actual brackets for the amp rack are metal, there's a 'divider' in between the actual brackets and chasis, a piece of MDF (wood). On top of that, we also have velcro stripping for stability, etc.

Just like everything else in this project, things have changed, not sure if they are for good or bad though, lol. Originally, 2 subs, mids and hights, 2 amps, now, everything's doubled in quantity.

Is there going to be anything between the amps and the fiberglass? I can imagine that the amps will rattle against the glass.

Aside from all the jokes, this car is NOT only for show, it will be driven, driven a lot. There has been a lot of planning that went into this project, little details like can make or break a project. Everything will be Dynamatted and or also protected from grounding, rattling, etc!

Also keep in mind the fact that these are all fitting pictures and are not finalized.

WOW,... I've always known building a car to a show winner was hard and took lots of time. I can't stop droolling thinking about how it's gonna look when finished. Excellent work. can't wait to see the finished product.
