Thought some of you might like to see this. I just got in my HID kits and here are the new upgraded ballasts, they are TINY! The dimensions are 3inX3inX.75in!!!!

guys i stopped buy to see the project and there is noo doubt that he can handle this !!! he has a huge setup with several employees to help.and trust me i have a feeling that drvnconcepts and cl will be a fruitful relationship because Ian is a very nice guy that is willing to help out another cl member (like most of us lol) also Ian we need to bs a litte more when your not soo busy pm sent

Hey what HID ballast are those? So small....I like . Maybe I can fit a pair of HID's in my tail light reverse

the brand is called DDM, it's a division of Apexcone, The company behind Xtec(the real thing), Apexcone and DDM. Apexcone/Xtec are very popular in the BMW forums, as the company started by it's owner Jim Powell, who owns a few BMWs. The kits were originally designed by Apexcone for a few small companies in Central America for their road racing and baja, after seeing the possible retail potential, they decided to release it to the public. They are design to fit in small areas and have been tested in baja races to ensure they can survive in extreme conditions. The supply for those kits are currently still limited though, since they just released them and all the distributor and vendors are eating them up! They don't even have new boxes yet, Ian's kits came in white boxes

i must say im a little dissapointed w/you going just the HID route IMO, u r goin all out and i dont think u should cut ANY corners. i think you are going to have one of the sickest GS's on CL and you NEED to have some retro fitted Q45 headlights BUT thats just my opinion and no matter what, your car will be SICK keep up the GREAT work and keep on keeping us posted
