Default What's a good price for this car?

1998 GS400
47000 miles
All stock
Gold with tan interior
All records and maintenance up to date
No accidents
Runs and looks great
One owner (retired)
Always garaged
All locks work
Tires are original and need to be replaced

KBB, edmunds, and NADA put it between 17k and 19k for private party.
I was thinking $15,500. Do you think this is out of line?

I think 15k should be a good price. I paid 15k for a 99 GS3 white/black with 60k from the dealer I work at, I think they took it in as a tade fro 13 maybe 14.

With 47k I think that is an excellent price. That is less than 6k per year With all maintenance records you should jump on this.

If the car has no prior signs of accidents or damage than jump on it, great miles and great price for a gs4.

Sounds almost like my car, 1999 with 34,000 miles, bought in 2/05 for 22K.
If you can get it for 15.5K then it's a steal. Good Luck.

I agree, if that's the true mileage, it's a good price. Look at the interior and also exterior, with mileage that low, the condition of the vehicle should be outstanding.

Thanks for confirming. I'll let you know how it goes. I already have a 98 GS4, but it has 97000 miles. Guess I'll have to sell it!

I can get him down to about $16,800. I would put the car in near new condition. I can't find signs of wear anywhere on the car and all maintenance is up to date. Thoughts?
