For that year and milage from a dealer, that is a good price. Are they giving you a warranty with it? If no warranty then I would have them knock of a couple thousand and see if they bite.

Nice Find, Car comes up in CarFax without any problems:
"corporate fleet"
later Registered as lease vehicle
one owner
3 yrs. 3 mo.
Owned in the following states/provinces:Illinois .
I second TexasGS ,the only thing that is strange for me is that the car in not CPO'ed.
Considering the fact thast they have another GS430 with less equipment and more miles certified, some dealers are funny about that .

The positive:Black on black and the chrome wheels are money.

The negative: none

The Doubt:I will take a closer look at all the panels and get the car inspected to be 100% sure.

I will offer 28K if the car is in good condition .

Just remember:"Whenever there is any doubt, there is no doubt."

Good Luck in your purchase and welcome to CL

You said: "the car is at a lexus dealership...so it is certified..."Sorry, but the website does Not show certified. Not all the cars at a Lexus dealership are CPO's
It could be a mistake?
TexasGs is a CL member, not the location of the car.
You said:"i offered him 29 cuz im tired of lookin...he said it was flawless...i wanted to ask u guys be4 i went out to look at it"
Making offers on a car without seeing it,I don't think is the right approach.
IS350 and GS430 two different cars completely.
$2000.00 is not really a big difference in order to get what you want.
2K @7% * 60months= $39.50
2K @7% * 72months= $34.10
You said:"my problem is if i want to spend this much money...cuz these cars are bringing huge money and hard to find"
Bringing huge money for who, the dealer?
hard to find? not such a thing.Dealer is showing 3 Gs430,2 of them CPO( may not be there) one with 6K more miles for the same price and Certified.
You said:"or spend 7k more and get a BASIC IS350 which isnt floating my boat..?
That is a self answered question.
Or better yet 29K+7K =36K
For this money buy a 2006 GS AWD Blue Onyx Pearl W/31,738 miles, certified. At Lexus of Highland Park.Listed @ $36,595.
Welcome to the Car Buying Experience.
Again Good Luck , mate

30k is a fair price for that car cpo from dealer. 27-28 is a good deal.sounds like it still has 7 months of factory bumper to bumper warranty too. anything you can find, they'll fix for free. that's a big plus to me.

It's probably not CPO because it's probably still under the factory warranty.

Uhmmm, i purchased a GS300 same year 34K on the clock at the end of july and the car was CPO.
You can have the balance of the original warranty and the CPO as well and the dealer's own (normally 3 months or 1K miles)warranty.
Agree with chuckb, CPO is a big plus, especially when you need a loaner... My $ 0,00002

my dealer does free loaners even though I havent purchased my lexus from them. some will, some wont. I will tell you that I havent found a dealer with a good explanation of with they CPO some and not others, to me, it's like the black box.

Wow
Very close to the VIN of my old GS that I returned from lease back in March JT8BL69S030012076. I had to go look it up just to make sure it was not the same car!
