Smile Someone Keyed My Gs300

It is about 1 feet long and very deep in back panel. Couple estimates told me that I have to repaint the whole back panel. I bought the car brand new in 2004 and it's Onyx Black, I don't want to have it repaint, any suggestion? any one? Thanks

I am sorry to hear that. I feel your pain my car was keyed (2001), mainly because of my own stupidty. But no matter what no one should mess with a persons car. I took mine to the best shop in town, they did the same thing they said for it to match or look perfect the whole door panel had to be painted.

Sorry to hear about that. Black is the hardest color to match so the bodyshop definitely has their work cut out for them. Any ideas on who did it?

I thought black was easy to match, and light colors are harder.

I've hadmostly black cars and I think they were easier to match than my platinum silver. Body shop guyshave complained of numerous attempts to match it...almost creating it from scratch. I never heard of that from a black car.

Sorry to hear about the big scratch. Like everyone says, do it right, paint it! If it's deep as you say, you don't have much choice anyway. Fillers only go so far.

I'm gonna have to disagree there. Black is the easiest color to match.

sorry to hear about your car being keyed. Since the scratch is deep you will need to have it repainted for it to look right, and as most have pointed out black is the easiest, or one of the easiest colors to match
