Q: Making your own cabin filter
It's been a while since I've checked in to the forum, so I apologize for covering old ground. A few months back, there were posts from people who made their own cabin microfilters by cutting down regular furnace filters. I couldn't find these posts by doing a search, however. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or give me some guidance on how to do this?
Thanks,
jj

do a search for my handle. I am pretty sure I posted info on this several months back. If you can't find my post, just go to home depot and buy a 3M panel filter for central air ducts it runs about $15 but you can cut out about 6 panels for your GS so net cost per unit is about $2.50 which is much cheaper than $30 at the dealer, plus the 3M filter does a better job of filtering than OEM. good luck.
