no problem dude!!

so when i do it i take the multimeter, put the negative reader inbetween the negative pole and the clamp that connects the car? and what about the red one? just on top of the poistive pole? sorry about all the questions just wanna make sure when i do it today that it will be right

whats the lowest drain i should get?

Ok, now we have the settings on the multimeter right.

You diconect the negative clamp from the negative pole.
Now put the multimeter between the pole and the clamp (the red wire on the pole and the black one on the clamp or the other way around, that doen't realy matter).
Now you can read the amout of ampere that is being drawn from the battery (should be like 0.01) if it is higher you have to investigate.

Do you understand what I am saying?

thanks man, but i did that, and before i touched anythign it was reading somethine like 0.04 or 0.05 and then when i touched the battery, nothing changed... is my mulitmeter off by 0.045 or something?? is canadas air electified? haha well thanks man that was just my concern because i wasn't seeing anything happening

but i guess thats a good thing right?

Yeah it's a good thing.
I think the problem was just the old battery.

Optimas will be ok for a lexus, but many cars have problems with the height of the batarey. The hood on my Civic would not close because of those polls.

haha my optima is SHORTER!! i have to put washers for the battery brace to go on or else it would be too low and threre are no threads on the rods that fasten it to hold it down!

my mom said her car delayed a bit when starting, like it was bad, she said she may have just stopped holding the key before the car started... but i dunno im getting re-worried!!

ill have to see for my self
