maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, eric - that would have been a great time to do some custom led lights along the doors...

very cool shots - i've never seen those.

Those copper tubes are for your sun roof. The cables are pushed and pulled through them from the motor.

if you look close, it looks like the headliner is laying on top of seats in this pic.

I'd be interested in knowing how he took it off too. I have a dent in the center of my roof and I'd take a crack at it before I give it to a body shop. I've been told that the metal is stretched so not a candidate for PDR.

I really didn't think this would spark so much interest. I'll talk to the PDR guy next Tuesday and ask him how he took down the headliner. Here are a few more pictures. Here's one from the passenger side showing the moonroof motor:

Here's another shot of the back. Chuck, you were right. The headliner was resting on the top of the seats (which would explain why my passenger seat was in a slightly reclined position when I picked up the car):

If you have/could get anymore details on how it was removed I would really appreciate it. My sunroof took a dump on me and I need to figure out what is wrong and get it fixed. The pics are helpful, thanks for the post.
