Hi All,

I just bought an 04 GS300 with 10K miles on it and the dealer did a 28 pt inspection and fixed the problems for free since the car is still under warranty. Is this a good deal for $23K?

I doubt it, but hey..when warranty is up, it's probably better to go with a 2jz-gte swap. More power with OEM reliability And you know how potential those gte engines are Plus you can probably pass it though the state ref, where as an aftermarket turbo/sc may not.

That would give me time to enjoy sweetness of luxury. Driving my 2 s/c bimmers does not give me the luxury because it's always driven rough and at over 3500 rpm. It's always fun how my two sleeper beemers stuns a lot of cars on the road. Though the favor was returned by a few GSs. Most of the time, I enjoy cruising on my G20 because it's stock and the temptation is not there. My buddy is going to be stationed in Japan for 4 years so he probably can pick me up one 2jz-gte and include it on his household shipment on the way back. At that time, the warranty is up. I spent 5 years in Japan and was not into modding cars but I had a Supra and a Skyline. Wish I brought them back to the states instead of selling them when I left Japan in 96. I thinking of getting a set of new shoes for the GS and in BLACK instead of chrome or alloy. What do you think?
