Default GS or IS wheels

I have a GS 300 and I was wondering which wheel will better benefit the GS 400 17 inch or the IS 300 17 inch I know what size to put on for the IS wheel but what size do I put on the GS wheel the 235/45-17 or a 225/55-17?

go with the GS400 rims. the IS300 are doable, but remember, they're only about 7" wide i believe so you're actually decreasing the width of your rim setup. Not to mention, you'll want spacers, otherwise the IS rims will look funny when it's hidden under the wheel well You can hinder handling and grip with the IS300 wheels. The GS400 rims are 8" wide I believe.

Go for the 235/45/17 tires. They're OEM size to accomodate the GS rims. 225's are practically what our 16" rims use.

So the GS 400 wheels are wider that the IS wheels. Do I need spacers if I get the GS 400 wheels?

How about the RX wheels

Not many people have either... You might wanna do spacers in the rear though.

Damn I didn't think the RX 330 wheels would look that good on a GS that's the 1st time I saw that but would I need spacers even if I get the oem GS 400 wheels?

That's why I got them. Nobody has them on a GS and I get compliements on them all the time. They're 18's and I have 235 series tires on them.

Get the G-spider wheels. Hands down the nicest Lexus wheel made. I'll have picks of my silver GS in the G-spiders up by mid week. If you want to see the pics, PM me. Maybe they'll give you an idea of the size and style you want to go with.
