Default How much is my car worth?

Thinking about selling her. I really need an SUV, I have 3 other cars already. What's a good price with everything on it. And if I piece it out, what is a good price for just the car and price for each item...All parts have less than 2,000 or less miles on them. Kelley Blue Book says $21,000—Excellent, Private sale.

I'd be inclined to think you could get more for it returning it to stock and selling the parts. Mods don't generally you much in the way of increase in the value. Sort of the like upgrades in a home dont increase the value as much as they help it to sell a little faster. If you're patient, you could recoup the cost better as parts rather than the whole.

yup- return to stock and you'll get the same or more for your car, plus you can make out pretty well parting out your stuff. your bumpers, all the l-tune stuff and the teins will sell quick in cl classifieds.

I agree, the teins as well as the body stuff would really attract a specific buyer but not much more money, but definitely be sold fast on thier own.

I can't comment on the price, such a low mileage vehicle on an older 400 may bring you a bit less in terms of cash.

Great price but you also have to take your area into consideration. Certain types of cars sell better in certain areas. Pick-up trucks wouldnt sell wel here in Chicago but you will probably fetch more in texas. you would def want to place online IF you dont see much a buyers market for it.

I went to McGrath Lexus here in Chicago with my GF to look for a truck for her and the sales person asked me a good 8 times if i wanted to trade in my GS400. Out of 100 or so cars none were 400's. She said they sell like hot cakes. Any who good luck and pssst come here (whispering) Im about to buy CS's with EDFC so if you happen to know of anyone selling theirs let me know.

Here's a pict for those that asked—Typo on the mileage, it has roughly 39,500 not 37,500

If I ask $25,000 with everything, is that a good price??? Feedback....

Honestly, i think that might be a stretch. I paid 18.5 for mine and it was a 2000 with only 58K miles on it. Granted mine doesn't have all the add-ons but those dont account for much on a resale. Edmunds gave a value of $18,075 for maximum value/fully loaded in outstanding condition.

just put your car in the autotrader for you price of 25k. you wont lose anything but just putting it in there. there are people that would rather purchase a car that has been finished than have to start from scratch. i think if someone were to buy a GS and perform the same mods it would probably cost them more to replicate this car. good luck on the sale.

Would it hurt you if the buyer immediately parted it, then sold the parts and the car?

That's what happens to companies whose asset values exceed their market capitalization.

i think you could find someone to buy it as it at your price. Just put a few ads out and about. The kind of person that wants a GS that is already customized and knows that only 2k is on all the mods will quickly buy it.
Good Luck
