May have a battery problem?
Every morning for the past week my GS300 has a problem starting, I need to turn on the ignition 2 or 3 times before it starts and then its good throughout the day until the next morning. Do I need a new battery or what?

It might be a consideration, since you are living in New York and winter lays ahead. If this is an original or first time replacement and has more than three years of usage, I would replace it with a good locally available brand.

What happens on those first 2 attempts, nothing? Then when it does catch does it turn over slowly and fires up? IF it turns over nomally when it does catch I'm going to say battery connections. If it turns over slowly it's probably the battery as Tammy stated.

Thank you all who responded. Battery is about 2 to 2 1/2 years old from lexus. Funny thing is this only happens in the morning, I get 2 or 3 clicks and nothing at first and then it would turn over like normal. I checked my connections to the battery and they didn't seem to be loose, although the positive wire had very little corrossion on it that I will try and remove and I guess it's not a bad idea to check the connections to the starter which I haven't done yet.
