Default What colour is this GS?

Ive been on the lookout for a GS300/400 now for a little while, and accidentally came across this one...that seems to fit my needs neatly

Black interior and a sunroof are the only things missing to make it my dreamcar though

Just wondering if any one of you guys might know what this colour is called? Keep in mind though...that this is a eurospec 2001 GS300.

Nahh...i think ill grab this one for my self

The guy who ownes the car...works at a Toyota/Lexus-dealer and according to himself bought the car "cheap'ish" when it was traded in two years ago...and thats the reason he is selling it for a tad under what 1999/2000-models go for It comes with all the servicerecords etc. and has a tad over 100.000KM (60'ish miles) on the odo.

As the car is located a days drive from me, im waiting for high res. pictures of it...to decide if i want to get on a plan and go fetch it

Ill keep you guys posted

Excellent forum youve got here btw

Ahh...almost forgot...is it possible to see...from this picture...wether this is an early type or a post 2001 GS?

I know the 2001+ has got new rear lights...and a new steering wheel etc....but was there ANY difference in the front end that may show on this photo?

I always suspect the worst...when it comes to buying a car ...and id like to get it confirmed that this is indeed a 2001+ model...and not a left-over 2000 model

No. From that pic there is really no way to tell... I just noticed that it looks like this GS doesnt have a sunroof?? Here in the states i dont think lexus has put out any GS's without sunroofs...

The front grill looks pre 01 to me. The 01+ has fatter slants and less of them, correct?

Not having a sunroof is a bonus in my opinion, especially with the constant rattling the GS sunroof is known for

Bingo! Got a few more pics now...and lo and behold...its got the steering wheel and rear lights off of the pre 2001's!

Im a little dissapointed over the dealer right now... Its a largish Toyota dealership just outside our capital...and the dont know the difference between a 2000 and 2001 model?

I might give them a lowball offer though We'll see
