dude, if you're a guy, and you're contemplating about painting your car pink, that is the gayest thing i've ever heard. no matter what the amount of money, that is just GAY.
seriously, once you strip the paint and repaint the car, it's no longer the same. even if you paint it back to the original color, your paint surface is never as flat as it was from the factory. resale value is going to sink.

If you dont care about your ride or it is a POS then do it if you want. I know I wouldnt do it. It only $6K... if you were talking $20K or something it would be different.

paint it pink use the 6k on mods and definitely tint and make sure he does the calipers and stuff also then show your car!! who cares what people think. its money in the bank. even if you do have to pay a couple grand to fix it later then you'll still have a few grand in pocket!

It's only 3 months, the time will fly. But the memory will definitely last a lifetime.
As for the resale going down, that depends on how perfect your paint is now and how good a shop you take it to. Some shops can do better than factory work, but usually for mucho deniro.
I'd have 3 months of fun with it if I were you. But don't go half assed, you have to go for the full look. Here's what I'm thinking...

Ok guys...the embarrasing dilema I'm in.
My friend is a million air. And he loves to mess around with us by doing dares for money. He offered me 6000$, if I paint my whole car BRIGHT PINK (painted is paid for by him), and drive it around for 3 months. Remeber...I goto work everyday commuting 30 miles from Gardena California, to Rosemead California.
now...will you guys kick me if you saw me...or will you guys root me on to doing it? what do you guys think?
Remember...its not just regular pink....its metallic pink..keep that in mind guys....i also dont have windows tinted and i have 2 dragon tattoos all over my body( Japanese). Just had to add that in....
