Hi all, I'm new to CL but I've had my GS400 for quite sometime now. I've been looking around the forums but never really sat down to register and post till now.
My previous toy was a '01 Trans Am WS6 and a '95 Camaro.
All fun except that the family was coming so here I am in a '99 GS4.
I'm thinking of going SC or Turbo, maybe more turbo because SC whine isn't really my thing.
Thanks for reading.

Welcome to CL!!! No personal experience with either option you mentioned for a V8, but there are plenty of threads here discussing them. Look under the Forced Induction (FI) forum and you might be able to get more info.

Thank you all. I'll try to take some pics soon. I just picked up a Sony N1 8.1 MP digital camera and if its sunny tomorrow I'll try and get the back drop of Pismo Beach behind the car.
I've always wanted to try something unique like a turbo on a Lexus. I did the american muscle car thing, which is still fun, but once I got into the GS4 I liked the smooth, comfortable ride and I felt it was powerful when the situation demanded.
But it sounds like I've got some reading to do in the turbo section before I start on any mods.
edit: Mmmmm, I just finished reading and I think I'll sink my extra 15-30K into a GS460.
