I seem to be changing batteries often on my key remote. I am using the CR1616 as directed. How long does a replacement battery last? -Also I found a 2016 battery will it work?

2006 + cars with a smart fob key use CR1632
1999 - 2005 using a 3 button fob key use CR1616
we sell them here at Lexus Westminster but of course it is cheaper to buy them elsewhere. For CL members, we do give a big discount on these so yeah..
