Default 02 430 w/ NAV...is this true?

Im a little bleary eyed for staring & searching for the last 45 min, but can anyone confirm this




2002 Lexus GS 300/400/430: For 2002, the navigation system got revisions including multiroute calculation, simplified graphics, and route preview, along with a faster computer and the ability to play DVD movies on its dashboard screen.

I know that the '02 got an upgraded navi (3rd gen), but i'm not too sure on the DVD playing though.

Yes it plays DVD if you replace the CD changer in the glovebox with a DVD changer found in the '02 RX300 or GX470. It costs $3K if you buy from the dealer.

bottom line is, the oem nav for the 01-05 gs300/430? nop you can't play dvd movies. with other changes and help? possible
