Display Unit Diagnostics
1. Press the Audio button to get to the Audio screen.

2. Press the Display button to get the Display overlay.
3. Press area A and then B. Repeat three or four times.

That'll get you to this diagnostic code checking screen (wait for a couple seconds while each system is checked) If everything is in working order, you'll see "OK" next to each item.

Now press the "Menu" button in the top right of the screen.
You'll be presented with this menu.
Pressing Service check returns you to the previous screen.

Color Bar Check
This lets you check that all the colors are being displayed properly. If any of those color bars show up black then your display is broken.

Touch screen functionality check
Press each line to verify that each section of the touchscreen is responsive. The "Next" button will take you to a horizontal line test.

Button function check
Press one of the button around the display and the name of the button will appear in the box to signify that the button works properly.

Nav Color Bar Check
If any colors on here are missing (and the previous Display color check worked) then the navigation unit or the wires connecting to it are broken.

Memory Copy and Paste
Looks like the dealer has the ability to backup your previous destinations, marked points, etc before they remove/replace the navigation unit. Pressing either button gives an error that the tool is not connected.
