Changed the oil in my 430 for the first time...
That is all Now I cannot remember totally but is the filter on the 430 in a diff spot than the 400? It took me no time (like 10-15min) to do this myself.
I guess outside Lexus techs, I'm one of the few to have done oil changes in the 400 and 430....
I know we have a 400 DIY, not sure if we have a 430 one but if we do not, I don't mind making one.
Castrol is my oil of choice.

they are pricey, but they are supposed to be good, and they are oem quality and the filter that came on the car from Japan so I'll pay an extra few bucks.

After my first 2 free oil changes from Lexus(buying new car), I've been changing the oil myself. I use Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Extended Mileage. It's supposed to last for 15K miles between changes. I usually run this kind of oil for 5-6k miles between changes. Changing the oil really isn't that hard though. I've got it down so good now that I don't even drip any oil anywhere. I have a GS300, so it might be different than the GS4/430. On the 2JZ motor, the filter can be removed from the top of the engine bay so that also makes it quite a bit easier.
